Leila is an internationally recognised oriental dance artist- teacher, performer and choreographer, based in Belgrade (Serbia), but constantly on tour around the globe to share knowledge and passion about oriental dance.

Established “Leila” dance studio in 2004.Has been running the school and teaching in all levels ever since.

Leila has a wide experience as a teacher, ranging from ballet and ballroom dances to serbian folclore, but dedicated the greatest part of past decade to her great love and passion – the art of oriental dance.Leila made her first oriental dance steps in the school of Alexandra Lahougue, from Nice (FR) and 2 years later started expanding her horizons by attending workshops with the most famous master teachers from all over the world. She owes most of her knowledge to her beloved and favorite teachers: Khaled Mahmoud, Mayodi and Orit Maftsir who gave her the greatest inspiration for her work and personal development, but she is very grateful for the chance to learn from other great names of the oriental dance scene as well: Randa Kamel, Dina, Nour, Raqia Hassan, Jillina, Mohamed Kazafy, Mahmoud Reda, Farida Fahmy, Osama Emam, Lubna Emam, Leila of Cairo, Tito Seif and many, many others..

Leila’s wide knowledge, teaching skills and well respected performances took her all over the world: Egypt, Czech republic, Hungary, Greece, France, Slovenia, Israel, Portugal, Spain, Ukraine, Belgium, Germany, Bulgaria, Sweden, Austria, Slovakia, Italy, Cyprus, Morocco, Tunisia,  etc…both as a performer and a teacher, also as a judge in the international competitions.

Leila was the winner of 2 national oriental dance competitions (2005.)  and also was the 3rd winner of "Let's dance" festival in Prague (Czech republic) in 2007. and the 3rd winner of "Lets' dance" festival in Prague (Czech republic) in 2009. Leila was the finalist of Eilat festival competition in 2011 and the 1st winner of HESHK BESHK festival in Venice (Italy) in 2013.

She also organises  oriental dance events in her country, by inviting prestigious names of the intrenational dance scene to share their knowledge, love and passion for this beautiful art form.  These events are united under the name ORIENTAL LOVE. Once a year, it is an inspirational weekend with one specifically chosen teacher and once a year it is a big event, ORIENTAL LOVE FESTIVAL, that includes more teachers, shows, live music parties, international competition.

”Leila” dance studio is considered as the best oriental dance school in the country, that has brought up some of the best qualified dancers in the region, that regularly perform in oriental cafes, restaurants, weddings and even embassies of arabic countries.
